Architectural Job Captain 2023

We are currently looking to add a Job Captain to the architectural staff. The available position is for applicants with 3-5 years’ experience and is for full-time hours.

Responsibilities will include, with supervision from a project manager, but are not limited to:

• Developing hardline schematic and construction drawings based on sketches provided by the Principal.
• Coordinating and managing technical detailing and daily progress for a given project.
• Reviewing and coordinating work by project consultants.
• Producing design and construction documents.
• Managing work of support staff assigned to the project.
• Regularly reporting project progress and status to Project Manager.
• Providing shop drawing review.
• Coordinating field survey work.
• Participating in meetings with project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture with 3-5 years’ experience working in an Architectural office or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Revit, including use of all 3D modeling tools and 2D detailing. A working knowledge of AutoCAD is also important.
• Substantial knowledge of technical construction detailing a must.
• Photoshop / Adobe Creative Suite skills are a plus.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary commensurate with experience: $60,000 - $75,000.
