In 2020, Kenneth Boroson Architects was contracted to design the new corporate headquarters of AdvanceCT, the nonprofit organization that promotes economic development and retention within Connecticut.

The space encompasses a full suite within the District New Haven corporate campus, also designed by our firm.

The AdvanceCT tenant fitout was completed as a “design/build” with Catalyst Construction. Our project scope involved preliminary meetings with users to determine the best configuration of various spaces, including multiple offices, workstations, conference rooms in a range of sizes, a staff kitchen area, and storage.

Design and construction progressed throughout the midst of the pandemic, which posed challenges such as product delays due to supply chain issues. Nevertheless, the project was successfully delivered; the client’s goal to create a light, airy space was realized through the use of glass partitions, open ceilings, and existing skylights. Polished concrete floors and glazed brick maintain the character of the District New Haven campus.
